A big mistake I see people make is thinking that there’s one way to get rid of pain. Let’s say someone has back pain. They think that if they maintain good posture at their desk, they won’t have pain anymore. Or that they just need a chiropractor to put everything back into place. So they do that, and it works for a bit, but... the relief is always temporary. And why would it not be? You get treatment, and then you go back to sitting for 8 hours, stressed out of your mind because you have a household to take care of while juggling with a demanding job. Your nervous system feels like it’s battling a bear 24/7. If you're in pain because you fell two days ago and you can already feel that it’s getting better, then ok, you’ve probably just teared a muscle and it’s healing. But if you’ve had this pain for weeks, months, years… That’s chronic pain, and it’s likely to be a symptom of something larger, something bodywide. I talked here about the fundamental fact that we don’t have pain receptors in the body. We have threat receptors. Pain is what the brain creates to tell you you are under threat. Your brain is trying to tell you it needs something. And now your job is to figure out what it can be. I've shared some ideas of what it could be, and what to do about it, in this episode of the podcast. A must-listen if you're in any kind of pain! FAQ - Body & Mind ResetI also wanted to share my answers to some questions I have received about my new 90-day programme.

I don't drop you after the 90 days, though. You can stay for as long as you want, with the same or less level of support.

I'm a bilingual yoga teacher who helps people who sit a lot gain mobility, move without pain and reduce their stress.
I've been reflecting on a question that keeps coming up in my coaching practice: should we lean into our natural tendencies or push ourselves beyond them? As often happens, the answer is: a bit of both. Let me share what I mean. I recently talked with my niece Manon, who struggles with maths but constantly compares herself to her naturally gifted brother. For her, forcing herself into a maths-heavy career would mean working twice as hard for half the results. She'd be fighting an uphill...
It’s not always easy to motivate yourself to move on a regular day, but when it’s 35°C… Yet it’s still just as important to take care of yourself and your body. So how do we do it? Well, we adapt! Yoga is for the morning! Today, I did yoga with one of my clients at 8:00, when it was still “only” 23°C, and it was divine. We did just enough movement to energize and relax before what promised to be an intense day. It reminded me how important it is to adapt our practice to the season. If you...
